What to expect:
During a PRP hair restoration treatment, a small amount of your blood is drawn and then placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets and growth factors from the rest of the blood. The resulting PRP solution is then injected into the scalp using a fine needle. The injection process is typically quick and comfortable, with most sessions lasting less than an hour.
After the treatment, there may be some mild swelling or redness in the scalp, but there is no downtime required. The full effects of PRP hair restoration may take several months to become visible as the hair follicles gradually become stronger and produce thicker, fuller hair.
